The GT Live Sessions are a Guildford-based live music promotion and production company set up by local singer-songwriter and promoter Gavin Thomas. Embracing the flourishing local live music community, the sessions incorporate live gigs, showcase performances, open mic nights, theatrical concerts, and festivals. Gavin’s main aim through the GT Live Sessions is to promote up-and-coming singers, song writers, musicians and bands from the local area. The critically acclaimed open mic sessions give new and developing artists the chance to perform in front of a supportive audience, and to gain experience and exposure.

As well as fostering and promoting other local performers, Gavin performs regularly himself and is also involved in local charity work, using concerts and festivals to raise money for local campaigns and causes. Covid-19 restrictions meant that all GT Live Sessions ceased operation in March 2020, and stayed out of action for eighteen months. We are very excited to confirm that our SHOWCASE SESSIONS are now back up and running at The Britannia. Gavin will be hosting FOUR different acts every Wednesday night, with music from 8.00pm. Free entry.
