ONE SPRING AFTERNOON
In early 2016, the GT Live Sessions were approached by the lovely people at the University of Surrey Students' Union to help find acts for their annual FreeFest festival that took place down by the lake on Stagg Hill. They were looking for the GT team to take on the afternoon part of the event, and it seemed like the perfect match. Gavin was already producing the One Winter's Night and One Summer's Day events, and One Spring Afternoon seemed the next logical step. The GT Live Sessions provide the acts and host the event from noon until 5pm, and then the Students’ Union take over, and the event continues until midnight. It’s a completely free event, with a fully licensed bar, food stalls, children’s entertainment, and an awful lot of first rate live music.

One Spring Afternoon 2025 was postponed due to the cancellation of this year’s Freefest at Surrey University. We sincerely hope that things will be back to normal for Spring 2026. x
